This month, market activity picked up in global markets. We observed the stock market sell-off due to multiple macroeconomic factors (check out our economic insights). We were well prepared due to our long-short equity strategy, which includes ‘shorts’ in our portfolio. Shorts are trades in which we sell the shares of a stock to make a profit on its falling price.
